Sadly, Gloria Jeans has become synonymous with terrible service. I bought a drink that said $5.40 on the board, and was charged $6.90. When I asked why, I was told I was charged $1.50 for ice cream.
There is no price listed for scoops of ice cream on the menu board, the extra charge was not mentioned at the point of sale, and the customer after me was offered ice cream and when she asked if there was an extra charge for it was told 'no'. Liars! For a cafe which had so-called Christian origins, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
Never again, Gloria Jeans. Goodbye.
Gloria Jean's Cafe is well set out and spacious, with brown wooden table and chairs, coffee coloured walls, with a very large painted mural along the side wall, with comfortable bench seating below the mural. An appetising display of light food is situated along the rear of the cafe, beside the coffee machine. Large undercover area outside dining giving you good alfresco dining options. We found the range of food options fresh and tasty, with a good Gloria Jeans coffee. The service was excellent and professional. Some added extras which we appreciated were, A Senior Card Discount, Free NewsPaper and WiFi. Overall a good Cafe experience, will return.
