Gourmet Girl

We were pleasantly surprised when we first visited Gourmet girl five years ago. They have offered consistently attentive customer service and delicious food. We enjoy the relaxed ambience especially on a warm day when you can sit outside in the dappled light trickling through the mature tree canopy. It's one of our favourites

We had a generous and delicious breakfast at Gourmet Girl, with great and friendly service too. Thoroughly recommend!

Nice food, and beautiful setting amongst the trees at Laburnum shops. However, the service is hit and miss. I have been there 4 or 5 times - sometimes the service was fine, but other times it was incredibly slow. That said, I will probably return in the hope that the service improves. Hopefully I'll be able to write a better, updated review in the future!

Service and standard has definitely gone downhill since a relatively recent change of ownership. The service is not as personal and friendly as it used to be, and the same level of care is not taken with the food preparation. However you can still get a nice cup of coffee and some excellent staff members still exist from the previous ownership.

no argument - the food is very good - however, when it comes to service, waiting times, the consistency of the coffee, and getting seating on weekends - there are many better options nearby. In my opinion - not worth the hype!!
