Terrible service overall as a centre. Some of the shops are ok. The foodcourt needs a serious update. Their Centre "management" is appalling. No response to emails, don't even pick up the phone 1/2 the time. Just trying to find out what time the office of open - from lack of response, seems it is not at all! Tried emailing (3 times) tried calling (heaps) - even tried Facebook and Mirvac head office - NOTHING!
Greenwood Plaza has been here for perhaps around thirty years now, but the place is well run, and undergoes renovations every so often, so it's always slick looking. Last year the food court got a modern overhaul and the results are stunning ! There are always good food and clothing and gift shops at Greenwood, a few favourites that I won't mention here, but always plenty of the better chain stores, and one-offs here. You enter straight from the North Sydney train station, or via an entrance point on the Pacific Hwy, or the other edge of the building, Blue Street. The latest service that Greenwood has offered is a free Justice of the Peace service, very pleased about that, as it can be hard to find a JP these days, so thank you Greenwood and the NSW Justices Association for providing this much-needed service ! You can park in the Greeny car park, and get an hour free with ticket validation in the centre.
I quite like this shopping centre. It is partly underground which is a bit off putting to my mind and also it is a little bit dated. All that said it is clean and well maintained.
The selection of stores is quite good. There are heaps of good cheap lunch spots.
The direct link to the train station is a big plus for me.
During the work week, this is a hustling shopping area. Lots of workers grabbing food for lunch or having a quick shop around the fashion boutiques. A good range of stores including French connection, Lorna Jane, Witchery, Sportsgirl, Cotton on, David Lawrence, Jigsaw and more.
Nice little retreat when you need to take a break from work or if you are passing through to head to the train station.
However, on weekends, this place is a ghost town...
