Hargreaves Hill Restaurant

We went to Hargreaves Hill Brewery & Restaurant for lunch. At the outset I must say that in our group we had one vegetarian & a vegan. Now often you go an hour (or less) out of the Melbourne CBD & places struggle with dietary restrictions/requirements. Throw in the fact that we're dealing with a pub, well lets say I was doubtful. But by all accounts, Hargreaves Hill managed & managed well. At lunch they have a burger & a beef & beer pie as specials, but call ahead & you can order from the extended menu. I opted for the burger & I LOVED it. Tasty, tender, perfectly cooked & prepared, filling what other adjectives could I possibly use? Throw in a tasting paddle (6 of their own brews in shot glasses for $7) & you have your hands on a winner of a meal that's worth raving about. Yes Hargreaves Hill Brewery & Restaurant you get my vote!
