High Wycombe Fish & Chip Shop

Food was ready when they said. Nice welcoming staff. Personally not my kind of fish and chips but its not bad. Batter too crispy for me and chips are hard but some ppl like that. I prefer soft crispy chips but ya cant please everyone :)

The only fish and chip shop in high Wycombe that refuses to substitute an item out of the family packs for one of equal value (well, less value actually as the requested item was cheaper). Was very rude when asked as well.



The old management were more than happy to do this and quite lovely about any reasonable request.



It's All about making the extra money rather than good customer service now.

Best fish and chips around..... eaten at the others in high wycombe, dont waste your time or money just come strait here...... glad to have found you guys.....

I Love fish and chips and was excited to try them here after being told by a friend how great they were. My partner and I ordered a grilled red emperor ($14) and barramundi ($12), squid rings and $3 worth of chips. It was the most revolting fish and chips I've ever had! The chips were all dark and crispy. It looked like the oil had not been changed in ages. The grilled fish was not the fish we order and it seemed as though they had deep fried it instead of grilling it and then pulled the batter off- it was so oily! Deffinately did not get my monies worth for the size of the fish pieces. They were so small! approx 9cm.The squid rings were dry and nasty.

The staff were friendly, but the one that served us had hair all on the face and not pulled back properly. For food safety standards, it's just unacceptable! Overall - EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
