Nice and comfortable with clean rooms, a good bed and the basics.
Location is excellent and the staff are accommodating.
Wifi is $25 a day, but it is a little slow and you need to pay an extra $5 for faster internet capped at 3,000MB.

Meeting up with someone here, the lobby is small but nice. The not so spacious ground floor area is pretty well designed to include a few different spaces for seatings, reception, internet use, etc. The ladies toilet could use more maintainance and cleaning though.

On our last trip to Melbourne, my friends and I stayed at Ibis Melbourne after securing last-minute good deals online. The location of the hotel is actually quite strategic: it is only minutes away from Melbourne Central and Queen Victoria Market, yet away from the crowds of Melbourne CBD.
