On our way to Bells Beach for the weekend, we did a short stop over at Angelsea. Popped into their local supermarket IGA Plus Liquor. Positioned at the back of the main drag, but not hard to miss at all due to all their signages. Providing flexible opening hours from Monday-Friday. It was great to see that this town hasnt been taken over the likes of Wollies and Wesfarmers. Picked up some vegetables, and a few nick nacks to ensure we were well stocked for our weekend. Im pleased to see that they had a number of specials, as my perception of these remote places that the prices will be quite highly priced (well Anglesea isnt so remote, as its a very touristy location). However there were a number of specials and the vegetables were well priced offering a number of seasonal veggies and diverse range of produce you wouldnt think would be available here. Eg. Mushroom s $8.99 per kilo. The checkout staffs were friendly and queues for not long at all.
