We know that it takes a little time to help build a child's confidence in learning in an away-from-home location. As parents, you'll want to build your own trust and confidence in us as well. In our Starlighter Room, the focus is on crafting this learning confidence within your child. This is achieved by a mixture of play-based and intentional teaching to match your young one's interests, matched to chances to develop their own confidence and independence through carefully supervised yet always enjoyable self-help and self-learning activities. These actions help your child bridge the gap from home, through our pre-school, and then on into their full-time education.
-Encouraging your child to develop their own identity in our Sunlighter Room
Here, we work to develop and extend your child's specific interests. This is achieved through matching key individual teaching moments to our carefully planned play-based curriculum extend from children's interest. This introduces your young one to our wide range of resources that allow them to develop their own unique learning identity, while ensuring that this process is proceeds unhindered in a positive environment.
-Readying your child for school in our Moonlighter Room
Many families have asked us to develop this 'School Readiness Experience'. These planned activities will help in developing your child's resilience in school and help to build emotional confidence as well as their literacy and numeracy skills. Both my boys go to Imaginations and we can't recommend them highly enough. The staff is amazing, friendly and caring. My little one had massive stanger anxiety but with the help of Miss Kim and Miss Helena , he is now a happy lil social kid. Beautiful setting , clean and very welcoming. I'm so glad we found this lil gem for my sons.
I just heard the news that Louisa and Berny sold this business and felt the need to write this review as I also agree with all the reviews below and rate this Preschool as being the best I have ever come across with very high standards. It is very good news to hear that Berny is still there and will be working there because it is her presence and kind nature that I think makes the preschool what is it. My son Josh warmed to her from the very beginning, and let me tell you that that was a big challenge for anyone to do this as he was always very attatched to me and I was quite surprised to how much he enjoyed coming to preschool to see Miss Berny. From then on, Berny helped him become more social with others and taught him everything he needed to know for primary school. Louisa was also a very big influence to how well Josh succeeded and had a fantastic knowledge of the primary school education. Best best best preschool in Australia!
I heard Luisa and Berny recently sold the preshool but I was told that Miss Berny is still working there which is fantastic news because she is an asset to the preschool and is so well trained with children and preparing them for school.
My childen attended Imaginations and I would recommend this preschool to any family that want an excellent education for their child/en. Congratulations girls.
This is truly the best preschool located in Sydney with fantastic staff and great preparation for school programming.
The preschool is always so clean with a fresh lime smell everyday i walk in the door and there are so many different activities and toys set up on a daily basis. My boys love it so much and look forward to it every week.
