Ireland does not deserve a one star nor even a zero star, if any more choices, it should be a negative one! Please never and ever go to Ireland if you do not want a nightmare or PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). Most horrible and devastating experience ever! Very incompetent and careless car technicians (did not fix a very small problem but left a nasty and smelly mark in the fabric car seat), incompetent employee and no communication between incompetent staff (3-4 times, they forgot to order a small car part, waiting for almost 9 months for a very small and common car part ) A couple of them including Nami, Glenn and Csaba Toth were nice and care about their customers though. I bought a brand new Alfa Romeo in March 2015. In July to August 2016 the car part covering the right lock (a very small part next to the right car door handle) was broken. I went to the service department, the technician had a look at the problem and took pictures of the part and ...read more
Recently called Ireland's regarding buying a new SV6 Holden Ute. The guy I was dealing with didn't careless or not if he sold me a car or not. It was to much effort to go an have a look at the car as I couldn't take car in as was buying it for my partner as a surprise. Not sure if it was because I was a woman an paying cash. Took him 2 days to call back. Then insulted me by giving me a price on the trade in he didn't even bother to see. Jennifer. Silicon X Joint Sealing Cairns QLD 4870 #reviewtowin
I have purchased over 6 Cars in the last 7 yrs from a Mazda RX8 to a Ford BOSS, This is our first Holden, for over 15yrs and never have I been so discussed with the service. Even as I write this not one of the many managers called me to sort the problems out.
Very Poor Communication
Only one staff member had the decency to even try and fix the problems. I will not recommend this company, I was told to go to Townsville and purchase a car from locals but thought I'd give them a try, I too will advise others not to trade with Ireland.
Where do I start? Nearly a month ago, I went into Ireland's Holden of Cairns to purchase a new vehicle and I am now still waiting... My car has arrived in Cairns, later than expected (at once stage, they had no idea where my car was). On Monday 10.02.14 I went to Ireland's at 8:30am as advised by them to collect my new car. A little excited yes I was!!! 45 minutes pasted and my car was finally presented to me. Well the excitement was gone within moments and I was very upset and deflated. My brand new car was damaged! Marks in the bonnet (very obvious) as well as on other panels of the car and a mark in the window. I handed over my vehicle which I used as a trade in. I waited another 2 hours in the Dealership to be finally given a loan car to cover the time they will take to repair the damage on my new car. Two days have passed and no light on the situation has been shed as they don't know when it will be ready nor can they advise how they will rectify the damage. I ...read more
