J.Tommy Thai Smile Restaurant

Great local restaurant. Been a few times, and most recently had a very delicious pork pad Thai. Service is great too. It's also BYO for 2.50 pp, which is always appreciated.

Really average, unflavoured boring Thai food. We ordered Pad See Ew, Pad Thai and Massaman. The lamb was lovely and fell to pieces but the serving size was soooo small in comparison to other Thai places. Pad Thai lacked love with hardly and chicken and no coriander to give it a bit of oomph. The noodles were claggy and sad. Wish we'd ordered somewhere else!

We ordered takeaway one Sunday night when were too lazy and felt like eating in. The restaurant was a lot larger and nicer than expected, and surprisingly quiet.

We ordered and picked up three dishes. The food was good, and worth a revisit (or a re-order).

waste of time, ordered a take away from the phone gave them my details and contact no. then guess what....Was told they haven't received any phone call, bad to worst service I've seen in a thai restaurant. They were rude and even asked me too go find your order yourself on their list... even got the nerve to give me orders. Go to the Chilli Jam or Red spoon or Star thai, they are way way way better in terms of quality and service and I mean way better.

Love the Thai food here. Servings look deceptively small - but they always fill me up. Some of the dishes are quite spicy and go well with a nice white wine (although they have dishes that aren't hot as well.)
