At the end of the day the kitchen looks pretty good. However, I didn't get some of the features I wanted. Custom kitchen doesn't mean custom kitchen apparently. In addition, I was really frustrated by water damage that was caused by a plan modification that I specifically asked them not to do. (I have an old roof so we agreed to duct the range hood exhaust to the old piping.) Instead they moved the exhaust and the roof leaked. 4k in repairs. I was also charged about 1k in callbacks for fixes I felt were necessary. Finally, I agreed to do the painting myself on the company's recommendation. It should have been explained to me that the painter is responsible for sanding new drywall, patching holes in walls and sealing the baseboard (among other things). This is my fault for not knowing more but it was still a pain.

I love my kitchen from James Kitchens!! The team worked with me and my partner to get exactly what we wanted. I now have a huge island bench for those "Masterchef" moments, as my partner calls them. We also have maximum space and storage throughout the cupboards and drawers and the compliments we get from visitors is that they're envious of what we have. I would recommend James Kitchens to anyone wanting professional service and a quality kitchen :) Thanks again
