This little cafe is located in the Adelaide railway station, and I had been walking past it a number of times so I decided to grab some breakfast here one morning. If there is one thing this place is great for and that is to people watch. There is no better place to watch people than just beyond the ticket gates, especially in the morning when the people come through in waves. I ended up having the breakfast toastie, which was okay, but the tea was a little too strong (and it took me a little while to locate the sugar and the stirrers). Actually, the menu selection wasn't as great as some places. The place is okay, but for a spot to watch the masses (of which I am one) head off to work there is no better place than this cafe.
This is just a cafe in a railway station, so I guess I shouldn't expect much more. But the steak in the steak sandwich was not pleasant - too tough. And the chips were soggy. Price was ok.
A bonus is they're open at times others aren't - and just before a Crows game this is a big plus. But I wouldn't rush back.
