Hi, my name is Steven.

My wife (Kerrie) and I along with our 2 fantastic children (Brooke & Josh) and our dog (Zoe) moved to Mt Compass 17 years ago from Morphett Vale.

We moved to Mt Compass as it was close to Adelaide yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet and a rural feel with fantastic friendly people who would do anything to help.

Having worked overseas for 5yrs and returning to Australia we decided to bring a better lifestyle for our 2 children. It also helped that there was a golf course here to play golf with but also a football club, tennis, club netball club, cricket club and more for our children and ourselves to enjoy the outdoor life.

Since I have made the decision to run my own Jims Mowing Franchise, the area is ideal for me to move around the Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu Peninsula to meet and work for a wide range of clients and a high variety of work for me.

In recent time before I purchased my franchise, I worked for Munns Lawns Pty Ltd as their Operations Manager for their national distribution and packing facility at Lonsdale the Yates in Sydney.

Working in the Lawn & Garden industry it would seem a natural progression into the lawn & garden care area. This was not the only reason. I had health issues and since taken on the Jims Mowing Franchise my health has improved significantly to where I have not felt so good health wise for many years.

In my spare time I enjoy watching most sports but especially local and AFL football, golf, cricket & surfing. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and being a part of the Mt Compass Tavern Social Club raising money for the local community clubs and CFS. ...read more
