The Fleurieu Dish

An absolutely delightful cafe - great food, friendly staff!
We've all done the "cannonball run" to Victor but treat yourself next time and drop in to the Fleurieu Dish at Mt Compass for a light lunch or a coffee/snack. Formerly a Venison shop/cafe, these new owners have transformed the premises and the result is worthy of a stop over.
We had lunch there and my pumpkin & capsicum soup served in a hollowed out cob roll was very tasty and a welcome treat on a cold winter's day. Their menu has quite a variety of foods - I'm sure you'll find something that you like and is a nice change from dropping into the deli for a pastie!
The staff here are very friendly and two families that run the business clearly work hard to give all the attention to detail that make it a special place. ...read more
