The Jolly Chinaman has been for many years my favourite Chinese Restaurant. Alas, it is gone, falling prey to the rising rents of Tedder Ave and a few other issues, the Jolly Chinaman has causes us to leave Tedder Ave in search of a chinese restaurant with the quality and value of the Chinaman. Good luck Clayton where-ever you are.
I loved this little Chinese Restaurant. We were looking for somewhere casual to eat after our outing at Surfers Paradise and drove down and found Jolly Chinaman. So glad we did! The prices are fantastic, great choice of traditional dishes which are very tasty, friendly and attentive service and overall casual atmosphere that will leave you feeling full and satisfied.
