Delicious food and matcha latte, the katsu sando was awesome because it was crispy and moist at the same time. The special sauce was the kicker, it made me extremely happy to find this existed outside Japan!
Their matcha latte was pretty good, i had better but this wasnt bad.
Small cafe with about 12 seats, they mainly focus on takeaways since its too small but i heard they will open up next door and add more seats!
Kahii is a place that's been on my list for a while. Instagram keeps hitting me with beautiful pictures of their matcha latte so I headed into the CBD to check it out. Its quite a small place with a few bench stools, not a huge amount of space to eat in. More of a take away place I think, right infront of some businesses/ Trendy fit out. The menu isn't extensive but there's a salmon salad option and Katsu sandwiches. I really wanted the chicken Katsu sandwich but unfortunately by midday it was sold out. I ended up getting the pork Katsu sandwich. The pork was just fried so very crispy on very fresh white bread. It had some cabbage and a Japanese sauce. Overall very tasty. I ordered the matcha latte which looked beautiful -great barista. I wasn't a fan of the flavour at all but I'm sure many people are. They do regular coffee as well.
They also have quite a number of beautiful cakes which I bought a rose and raspberry flavoured one to take home which was really nice.Worth a look.
Recently opened little cafe on Kent street to help combat those monday blues or 3pm slumps. This place has a really good matcha piccolo's and other matcha inspired items including a frappe! Their matcha game is on point!
A japanese inspired cafe including niftly cutlery and crockery. They also have some tonkatstu sangas and soba noodles just to name a few and even stock Donutpapi donuts which are pretty good.
I only tried their matcha picoolo and a few donuts so will have to come back to sample these sangas. Check it out for yourself!
