Kathmandu aren't always cheap, but catch them on sale and the tables are turned. Warm fleece sweaters that would make your Grandmother blush. Solid Goretex trekking jackets for those wild trails you just know you want to go on. Tents and sleeping bags to make the most intrepid camping trip just that much more bearable. Seriously, they have some interesting stock and good walking shoes for those journeys abroad, or just to be comfortable around town. Worth a look for outdoorsy type people in particular.
