I would recommend Kevin McCaw Electrical to family and friends without hesitation. We needed a few odd electrical jobs done so the kids at my sons 18th would be safe, especially after a few drinks. Kevin's work was professional and efficient and a contract was agreed on for the work by both of us. He even doggedly tried to get our ancient ducted air conditioner to come to life again with satisfactory results, three other electricians in the past wouldn't even look at it. If you are in need of an affordable, professional and friendly electrican give Kevin a call.
What an amazing trades person you are Kevin, I asked for a alarm system and I recieved the best one on the market, the time and care you took on my home in setting this up words can not describe. I did sign a contract with you knowing there could be a varience in price but you advised me of this at all times and gave me the options. I was happy to sign knowing that my house was in safe hands. There are so many "cowboys" out there and Electrics is something you do not want to mess with. At the time Kevin was there I had 2 faulty switches and it was no trouble at all for him to fix on the spot. I will always and will not have any hesitation to recommend Kevins work or ethics now or in the future.
Just a word of warning for anyone thinking about having minor work done - get a quote! This electrician couldn't supply a quote before starting to work on a relatively simple job, as there might be complications encountered once the job was started. Fair enough, but I really think a bill of $950 is extemely over the top for a ceiling fan install, and relocation of two downlights. Add a few metres of cable, light switch and circuit breaker switch in the meter box. Total time on the job - 3.5 hours. That's about $250 an hour. Double what I was expecting. Never again.
Thank you for your review. We always ask customers to sign a Work Authority with Terms & Conditions before work commences so they are fully aware of our pricing structure. Obviously the rate you have stated and the work done is not an accurate representation. We were happy to implement a payment plan as discussed. Thank you for your custom.
