La Porchetta Restaurant
I have had bad experiences at other La Porchetta's and sometimes a bit hesitant to try another La Porchetta at a different location but it was late night shopping and this one looked pretty popular so we decided to give it a try. We were seated pretty much straight away and the waiter came to give us the menu. I noticed other than the universal menu, this La Porchetta has its own additinoal menu with slightly different dishes on it. So we ordered a staeak that comes with chips and salad for the same price from the main menu which only gives an option of chips or salad so ordering from their additional menu is more worth while. We also ordered a kids meal lasagna and that came out pretty quick fro my hungry little boy. Also the juice came in a kids bottle so easier for kids to drink rather than a glass with a straw. Food is average like any other La Porchetta but so far the experience here at this one has been better than all the others.
Just had the worst risotto I have ever had at La Porchetta Werribee. In fact it's an insult to risottos to even call it that. $19 for something that wasn't even passable. Wedges and garlic bread were just passable. Wouldn't bother going back to try out anything else. The staff must have known how bad the food was as they didn't even bother to ask if everything was OK.
I have been here a few times at various times and in general it is a good place to dine. Sometimes the service can be a bit slack but mostly the staff are friendly. it can feel a bit stuffy when it is full. The food has been good every time I've been. Trolleys are not allowed in there so not a good idea to go after shopping but any other time is fine.
Went to werribee la porchetta tonight. We were sat down straight away. there was about 5 other tables with customers. There was 4 waiters who all ignored us and wouldn't make eye contact with us for over half an hour. Then they started serving other people that came after us. Another customer asked for parmesan cheese and the waiter brought her butter. We got up to leave and one waiter sprinted to the register to bring up our bill. I stood there for 10 minutes while they tried to find my bill even though we didn't even get the chance to order. I eventually had to tell them why there was no bill in their system. Pathetic. So quick to race to get my money. I was so angry. This is the second time we have had to walk out due to no service.P S and the little bread rolls are gone too. Disgusting service and rude and arrogant staff.
