I had the most incredible burger I've eaten for a long time here the other night - it was huge, full of flavour, and the chips with it were delicious too (though just a little salty for my liking). Other members of the group had beer battered fish they liked; the calamari that they really liked the flavour of (though they said it was a little chewy) and the roast that was absolutely huge. The salad bar was good quality though it didn't have lots of choice - but everything was very tasty. Staff were friendly and service wait time was ok - they were busy but I would have expected it a little faster.
Afterwards we visited my parents in their room and it was huge (even bigger than the roast ;-), the view was lovely and the spa was great.
My reason for 3.5 stars is this all comes at a price, and it's more than I would normally pay. If you've got the money go for it.
Attended birthday celebrations here on the weekend in the bistro area, it was the first time here for most of us and we were all pleased with the service and the meals. The staff were friendly and attentive, the service was really good and the wait time for meals were fantastic- didn't have to wait long at all for all meals. There is a salad bar, the menu was good, decently priced and a decent range to choose from. The location was lovely, lakefront dining although we couldn't see the view as it was night time and dark but I could imagine the nice view during the day. I would recommend and also come back.
Was here for a wedding over the weekend in the function room and it was wonderful. Nice view, good location, great service and delicious food. We all had a great night! Wish I had decided to stay for the night like others from of the wedding party because I heard it was great value for money and the rooms are pretty good as well. Next time I'll keep that in mind. Would love to come back to have dinner some time.

It was money well worth spent
Agree the food was outstanding. However the service was very poor .... Staff did not offer drinks nor pour our wine at our table. We has to beckon a staff member over and place our requests for drinks and dessert after waiting for long periods. We were not offered bread rolls at our table and had to request them once our mains were on the table. Our special night of celebration was marred by the poor service which was a real pity :-( as the food really was amazing.
