Leaping Lizard Cafe

The location is superb, the service is good, but I must agree with the previous reviewer; the coffee is horrible. I agree with the phrase "the worst espresso based coffee I can ever remember having." Something that could be easily fixed though; get a good barista out there for a day to train the staff, and you'd have a great cafe!

Food was okay, but the worst espresso based coffee I can ever remember having. Really bad. Tasted like cheap filter coffee topped up with milk and looked like mud. Reminded me of a fast food chain coffee from the 80s.

We in the West are so lucky to have such a wonderful park and the Leaping Lizard is a great place to enjoy a coffee in beautiful surroundings, whether indoors or out. We took a bubble machine along and the littlies had a wonderful time 'catching' bubbles outside.. Such hard work deserved an ice cream afterwards and an iced coffee for the adults didn't go amiss!.

I was in the cafe shop today, and the amount of people that were in Brimbank Park having a coffee at the Leaping Lizard Cafe was asthonising! The staff told me that it was 'Keilor Walkers', that they go there 5 times a year. The area is called 'The Bush in City'. There is also a function room, which is highly recommened for the festive season.

A good place to have a coffee and something to eat after walking or cycling through Brimbank park. The staff are fantastic and they also have very good facilities for functions and catering.
