**Rude and arrogant!!!** - 4 months ago the guy made a smart arsed comment about checking a scrachy when I asked him if he could check it for me PLEASE?..Today 21/01/2018 I had a winning lotto ticket and he (Same guy) at the time was standing in the middle of the shop watching a game on tv and when he walked over to the counter I simply said he should move the tv nearer (I wasn't being sarcastic!) and he had a go at me about - "Why, could I not see it or did I say it because I had to stand and wait?"..I was simply making conversation!..We (my wife and I) have spent a few dollars in this shop for cards, lotto and other stationary, but NOT ANYMORE!..I DON'T GO SHOPPING TO BE INSULTED!
The newsagent has now changed hands since I wrote the above review and the staff are extremely friendly and polite - A real improvement!!
Been in Leeming for 5 years and avoid this newsagent like the plague. Both myself and 4 friends have had separate incidents with the poor customer service received, by one specific rude staff member. He should not be in a customer service role, suggest becoming a parking inspector as better suited.
Worst service ever, the staff is rude and pretentious. They wont allow you to use tap and pay and then refused me to use my company credit card because I had stuff worth $11 and their min is $15. I found them to be VERY unpleasant and the worst part of it is Im pretty sure he is one of the management! Dont bother with this place, I went to another news agency. Save yourself the drama and go elsewhere, I will never set foot in that place again!
What a place always have stock and good service. I wont be going anywhere soon. Keep it up and the hours you are open is great for the locals as well.
I have been to Leeming news and found it to be a great experience. I will go again as they have good stock and good hours. Great.

I have had enough with one of the staff at this news agency. I think that person is one of the management. As long as I've gone to this news agency, I've never seen the person smile - but always a frown.
Well today, Easter Monday holiday, I went into the newsagents to get my weekly magazine. This was about 7.10am and I'd just been to the IGA next door and came away with a $5 note from them. I handed it to the newsagent, that staff looked at it and asked me if I had the other bit. You have not been in Retail obviously. Do you realise what the card requirements are and not all retailers have tap and go. There is a security risk and we choose to only process cards that belong to the card holder. We have reviewed our limit on cards policy, So check it out next time and see if it meets your approval.
