Bought an LG Twinwash dryer combo in Sep 0f 2017 and it's been in for repairs 4-5 times. I believe we should be compensated with a new washing machine, thank goodness we got the 5 year consierge package with the good guys! Mext stip for us is consumer affairs as we are over it!
2 years Ago I purchased a 84 inch 4K Ultra HD LG TV (84UB980T) for $15,000. Now that Blu ray content has finally become available, I'm discovering that the TV is just an expensive paperweight as it doesn't support HDR technology. What next now that I've also upgraded my Receiver and Blu Ray Player to the latest $1,100 4K Panasonic.
I have the same issue at the moment with my 55'4K LG TV. It was advertised as '4k' back in 2014 when i purchased it from JB HIFI, and there were no 4K DVDS out then . i was told they will be out soon, and they had a good deal on this tv. so we stupidly got it. now that there are all these 4k dvds out, we cant play ANY OF THEM in 4k quality. we bought a XBOX ONE S , which has a built in 4k player, and when we try to play a 4k dvd, it says the tv is not 4k. we looked into it, and it all comes down to this HDR / HDR10 component which LG did not put in any of their 4k TV'S 2 years ago. we have written a formal complaint to them, and if they do not replace the tv with a capable 4k tv, then we will be going to the ACCC.

Purchased an LG 'Smart TV'. Very impressive except .... Read their privacy policy and could not agree with it. It really should be called a give up your privacy policy. Absolutely have to agree to their privacy policy before many of the apps such as SBS On Demand will update and hopefully work. Absolutely have to agree with their privacy policy to make a complaint via their website! LG support (after many calls and arguments) essentially said - suck it up sunshine. This from LG - I thought they were a great company and I am so disappointed I dont think I can buy any more of their products.
