This is a great little alternative to Footscray Market, especially week nights as they open until evenings, and Sundays as Footscray Market is closed.
The openness of the fruit and veggie sections does make you feel like in Saigon with the staff heckling prices in Vietnamese and inviting you to try their pre-cut fruits if you make eye contact. What am I talking about they'll still ask you even if you were walking the other way!
Always busy, loud and lively. The best value for good fruit and vegetables. Samples of fruits are always on offer. Workers even take my purchases to my car when I buy a lot. All lovely and very friendly! Come here at least 2 times a week all the way from St Albans. Open every single day of the year as well! Love it!!!
I took somebody on a mini-tour of Footscray the other day, and they were really excited. "I want the BIG tour," they said. "Show me the real deal, the glory of Footscray." I said "Uh...that would be Little Saigon, actually."

They are loud and seem ready to fight people. And mostly they don't care to understand what is customer service. Sorry to say that mostly they are rude and never correct exchange the money. Too much people lining up and no time to check exchange the money. I did ask the counter hand staffs several time that the money is not correct. They just talking in their language and never return back the money to return. They are rude and communication is bad...but I still need to come for some shopping. Coz not much shop a round western suburbs except super market...I hope these people more better behave, better customer services and better communication in the future.
