Macquarie Dental Care - Now Serviced by Westmead Smile Centre

Eddie is a shy guy but really nice when you get to know him. I've gone to him for a couple of years now and don't see myself changing any time soon.

I'm a former client of Macquarie Dental and unfortunately cannot recommend them to anyone. At the time it was close to work, convenient, and the prices were cheap (although the comment further below explains why). I had a lot of restoration work done (for cosmetic reasons, the teeth were 100% healthy) on my front teeth to correct a gap and poor appearance however the work has ultimately resulted in my front tooth needing to be extracted. Basically the restoration (resin bonding) was of a poor standard and if they are not done correctly they can create perfect havens for decay regardless of your hygeine (of which was always high along with 6 month checkups). It was also never diagnosed with following visits however it became evident to me just how bad the work was (and subsequently the tooth) after visiting some other well respected dentists 1-2 years later and hearing their dismay. The type of Dentist where asking roughly the cost before you sit in the chair wasn't clearly understood, then charging me with a $1500 bill!!! Also don't bother rescheduling your appointment because it's 3 strikes and your out!!! Told by a very rude Dentist over the phone that they can no longer offer book an appointment for me even though I would call well before my appointment and advise them.. After telling them it was due to my Mother being in Hospital and still receiving a bad attitude by them, I will be gladly finishing my treatment elsewhere.. That rudeness is NOT worth my money!!!
