Madeline's at Jells

I went to Madeline's cafe at Jells after a walk on a saturday morning. It was a lovely view over the park and the lake, though it was quite busy and noisy. I had a latte, which was quite small and the coffee beans itself were average. The eggs benedict was nice but nothing special. It's a good place to go to after a nice walk, but I'd say the view is the best thing about it. #reviewtowin

Rather busy on a Saturday morning and can get a little noisy. Quite spacious though and service is fine. I enjoyed the muesli - a really nice mix and generous serve but the amount of yogurt was way too small. Nicely presented with a small jug of milk.

returned here after some time, its such a shame as this place has such a lovely setting at the park but the food and coffee is poor. there is not a lot to choose from on the menu especially vegetarian meals and all meals are small, expensive, unimaginative and not the best quality ingredients. the S & P Calamari salad I had was unsatisfying and too pricey.

Not sure about the previous reviewer's experience?? Mine was completely different!! Perhaps Madeline's have changed their menu?? Had a lovely lunch with my girlfriends and our children, prices are reasonable for the quality, great options for the kids as well. Perfect place to enjoy lunch, a glass of wine and space for the kids to run around outside.
