Awesome little hole in the wall sandwich bar. Order a large sandwich and wait for your jaw to drop. They are ENORMOUS, easily the size of two sandwiches anywhere else nearby (and probably more than that) and amazing value too. Spot the Eastern European influence in the food, try their delicious homemade mayo and don't miss the borscht in winter. The owners are great and despite a constant stream of customers still find time to have a friendly chat with regulars while they work.

Love, love, love! This place hasn't changed since the last time I visited here which was back in 2011. The same owners, same guy who makes your fresh salads and sandwiches but now the salads appear to be even bigger and better! Such good value for money. The boiled chicken is always cooked to perfection. If you ever want to grab a salad or sandwich from here then you better be ready to line up and wait. Otherwise come before the lunch time run.

I was introduced to this place by a few of my colleagues at work. Having heard a lot about it, my friends and I decided to give it a try.

The shop was very small it is practically a hole-in-a-wall takeaway shop located in a slightly hidden lane on Surry Hills (I would not have thought of coming in if I discovered this place on my own).

Just had a delicious salad from here for lunch. It was very tasty and a very decent serving size. So much packed in there I couldn't even finish it (which is unlike me). The ingredients are very fresh & full of flavour, especially the chicken which was perfectly cooked. It is a little on the rich side because of the dressings and some of the ingredients so I couldn't eat it everyday but I'll certainly be coming back again for another one. I've had the sandwiches before too which are fab but seriously huge- you'd want to share with someone.

If size matters to you, then this is the place to go for your sandwich. I wouldn't say the sandwiches are any better than some other places around town, but, they're fresh tasty and filling - though I won't wait in their "famous" long line for one.
