Mallard Duck Cafe

Beautiful little restaurant in the Swan Valley. Casual setting with loads of natural light and scenic outlook. Small but nicely selected food menu with duck, fillet beef, seafood, chicken and pasta options. Drinks very reasonably priced. Service is efficient and friendly. Food is absolutely delicious, it was a little shame that my meal came out on the colder side, lovely place for a casual weekend lunch.

Attended a function here recently and I would have to say if you are looking at this place for a function AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The management are extremely rude. The vegetables are bland and dry and flavours are not fantastic. Portions are also small. On the plus side the chicken was cooked quite well but not worth the 2 hour wait. Somebody else at the table took the wrong meal and they tried to make me take the steak instead. Um no, thats not what I ordered. When my meal finally came out about 20 minutes after everybody else had finished eating it was pretty much thrown in front of me. We then had to go an ask for a knife to actually eat it with as one of the staff who cleared the table from the entree had taken it away. My partner had tried to just get my main meal refunded before it had come out as I wasn't even hungry anymore and the idea of having 30 people sitting there watching and waiting for me to eat while they wait for dessert was not appealing.
