Mamma Barone Italian Restaurant

The absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Food was cooked in rancid old oil and was as bland as baby food. Expensive too. The real attraction here is the really beyond rude owner. He yelled at us when I didn't eat my meal! We paid and said we didn't want to fight but all he did was ramble drunkly about doggie bags (we never wanted one) saying his food was too good for us? Bizarre. He then tried to fight my boyfriend!

Wait staff were lovely management staff was incredibly rude! Hair in our untouched dish and management staff tried to imply it was our fault! And never once apologized! Couldn't pay me to go there again!!

Food was okay but the service was disgraceful. One staff was extremely rude from the moment we stepped in the door. Wouldn't return in a hurry.

Food was not bad however when they brought it out we were refused a plastic plate or container for my 1 year old to eat out of...because apparently its never been done before!! and management don't like plastic wear being served in their restaurant?? ha, well do they like that their 8 month pregnant customer who has just been served has to leave and go to franklins to buy a plastic container and then come back to have dinner?? do they like that they will now be getting bad reviews?? the waitress who was unwilling to compromise in any way, and insisted that my 1 year old has to use a normal plate, so i ask? when she breaks it, which she would and when the glass bounces back and hits or cuts her can i then sue you personally? or would management be happy then?? No common sense whatsoever, no regard for customer service actually the WORST service i have come across, needless to say we will NEVER go there again and honestly if you have kids don't bother!!
