Marion Swimming Centre

Great pools with shades, the grounds are well up kept, change rooms are decent.. My only issue is the staff working the kiosk. They are incredibly slow with no organisation! 5yr old Kids could do a better job serving customers. Your lucky if you don't die of thirst! I highly recommend bringing your own food & drinks along especially on warm days.

This pool has so much potential to be the best around! I wish it had more advertising to give it the boost it really needs. It was an amazing day, spent enjoying the sun. The new waterslide was really great for the kids, while there was also 2 small playgrounds when they didn't want to swim or go down the slide.
It was pretty quiet, while great for us, probably meant a slow day for them. There was only one girl on kiosk and she was also on the door entry. She was rushed off her feet - especially when it looked as if every one (including us) were rushing over for iceblocks and coffees!
It is so old school, it really hasn't changed a bit since going when I was a child. The pools are exactly the same and once again 20years later I still managed to get a small graze gash on my knee and foot from some of the broken edged tiles surrounding the pool. Great outdoor swimming centre, Lots of trees and shade, and grass areas. Pools that are safe for all age swimmers and beginners. The kids love the large slide the best.
