My name is Helen O'Brien, and I am an authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant. I am based on the Gold Coast, but I am happy to travel to officiate at your special occasion.

Your wedding day is up there as one of the most significant days in your lives. There are many features to a wedding. Let me alleviate you of one aspect, by giving you guidance and assistance with the legal requirements for the big day. I will meet with you and assist you with planning your ceremony and also, if required, help with the fun of writing your own vows. You can create a ceremony that reflects what you want for your day.

As a celebrant, I will perform a very professional service that you will feel comfortable with, and make it a truly memorable occasion. I am confident in guiding you through all the aspects of your ceremony, and I have many resources to share.

I also perform Commitment Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows Ceremonies with the same enthusiasm and respect.

I am considered a very friendly and approachable person with a warm personality. I have been married to my best friend for nearly 30 years and we have an incredible family. My family and friends say that I am a positive and cheerful person to have around. I love meeting new people.

I am definitely a true believer in 'love' and being a marriage celebrant is not a job but a passion of mine.
