The Mayfair Hotel has a gooooorgeous rooftop bar with a beautiful view of Rundle Mall. I love the decor and the small area, although it does make it hard to move around. The drinks were delicious, but the service was a bit slow. You get that with a small bar though. Would definitely recommend the honeycomb espresso martini. OMG!
A friend was working in the city last Monday so we decided to meet up after work to grab a quick drink. He had been wanting to check out the Hennessey Bar at the Mayfair Hotel, as have I, so that is where we went. The venue was really cool, each section was different and there were two outdoor areas, which one overlooked Rundle Mall. The bartender made a really good Espresso Martini but it did come with a price. Other than that though, I would like to come back and check this place out on a busier night like Friday or Saturday.
