Consistently frustrating and disappointing. Have been waiting over a month for our Fujitsu inverter to be repaired in the middle of a cold June. Have been told various inconsistent stories about what is wrong with it. Took over a week for the technician to come out the first time, and was told a new part was required that had to be ordered from Japan! Then received a call a few days to advised part had arrived (geez what a quick trip from Japan) and then when technician finally came out he said he could not get the system to work because we needed to increase the power supply on our circuit board to 32, when the unit runs on 16amps and the switchboard has been fine on 20 for the past two years. Was told call back once we had increased the power supply at our own cost. Then called our electrician who quoted it would cost $200 to increase power on board. The techs themselves were friendly enough, but having given me a fixed price quote for fixing my air conditioning unit and providing a so-called three month warranty for the work, the unit failed within one week of the repair. Melwide wouldn't make good on their repair without being paid a significant additional sum of money.

I spent 2 and half months trying to get my aircon fixed through these guys, and found them thoroughly unhelpful, unreliable, and unaccountable. Their communication was appalling: when they missed appointments, they didn't call; they refused to give out mobile numbers of their techs - fair enough - but they also refused to contact the techs on my behalf.
The saga went:
Tech 1: part is outdated, cant be fixed
Tech 2: easy! you just need a new motor!
Receptionist, a week later: Oh, you want us to actually order the part?
Then: the landlords credit card had expired, so they stopped all proceedings without notifying anyone
The part then took 2 weeks when that was resolved, but the part was not couriered to the tech, so the appointment was missed without a notification.
Apalling service: WATCH OUT!
