A lovely location on the edge of the Dandenong Ranges National Park, this charming olde worlde pub has large, tasty pub meals, a range of beers on tap and a lovely ferny beer garden. Service was friendly and didn't have to wait long for our food. We'll be going back!

Great trivia held every Tuesday night. Bar service can be very slow. Meals are tasty but a little overpriced for what you get. Several times we have been kept waiting for our order for a long time and then one person has not received their meal. I do like this place so we keep going back, regardless of the average service.

I was very disappointed this last Saturday night with the band that played. They were WAY too loud! I love music but this was ridiculous during dinner when trying to talk with friends. Not only was the band loud but they chose the WORST cover songs you could imagine for an upbeat crowd on a Saturday night! My friends & I were forced to leave after 2 songs in a row had been played at some funerals we had recently attended. We waited over an hour for our dinner, stood ignored at the bar. I have seen this pub do better but I cannot change my review until I'm satisfied these things won't occur again.
