Its a complete rip off, sholing service . Avoid if posssible. I was terribly dissapointed with this cafe! When my partner and I were seated we were just left there so after waiting 30 minutes to get served we had to flag down a waitress who got someone else to serve us. Funny thing is that there was one waitress who was chatting to her Italian customers for the duration of the 30 minutes while we sat waiting for service ? One waitress tapped her on the shoulder for help and she just glared at her .."do not interrupt me while I'm talking to someone" ! I ordered a cheese/fruit platter & freshly squeeed juice.... for $18 I received 2 slithers of camembert cheese and a very small piece of chedder with a few crackers.. and fruit comprised of 1/8 of an apple. For $10 I received half a small glass of juice as it was filled with ice boulders. Its absolutely unacceptable and a complete rip off.
We dropped in for a casual lunch at the cafe - such a nice day to be by the water. However the service was arrogant and annoying. We waited and waited for a table with the staff at the front bar telling us someone would seat us, eventually another staff came along telling us to wait even longer as we watched them clean up a table... Even though there were plenty of tables available. Staff eventually returned and when we asked staff if we could be seated outside at a table (we could see one vacant) staff huffed and escorted us to it, then quickly disappeared. It was at this point we discussed leaving but ended up staying. From here the service improved so we enjoyed fish and chips and a glass of wine. It is such since setting for a casual lunch but we won't go back - there are better places.
