GREAT brunch location. This place has a huge table inside (it seating our group of 13 comfortably) with a limited but tasty and interesting menu. I don't believe they usually take bookings but they did for us as a one off (I think someone in our group knew the owner). The location was comfortable - no views but on the main block at Brunswick a mere minute walk to the river and then beach. In terms of indoor seating, it is really just that one big table so I can imagine you could easily miss out. There are also a few tables outside. They have a simple order-and-pay-at-the-counter-and-then-we-will-bring-you-your-food model. Again, work really well for big groups as it avoids awkward bill splitting at home time.
Great food! We ordered the Wild Rice Salad, Spicy Chicken Salad and Belgian Waffles w/ vanilla ice cream for the kids; for drinks we went with iced coffee, acai smoothie, watermelon + other vegetables and fruits juice, and a vanilla milkshake. Kids loved the food and us adults loved the creative salad menu. Some dogs walked in with their easy-going Byron-type owners but the cafe staff didn't tell them off. Really friendly service and I love the decor!
