Children work to achieve the above attributes, and reach their fullest and happiest potential at Momentum Montessori.

Dr Maria Montessori (1870-1952) believed that all children want to learn. She designed a rich & intelligent environment for the young child, balancing structure and freedom.

Children attend in an indoor/outdoor environment in multi-age groups, inspiring and nurturing each other.

There are six learning areas:
Practical Life Sensorial Material
Creative Arts Mathematical Material
Cultural Language

Curriculum also includes Music, Cooking, Language Study (German & French), Gardening, Brain Gym whole brain movements and meditation.

Children are taught individually, and progress with the Montessori equipment at their own pace. They learn to read and write, and leave at a Grade 1 level in English & Mathematics (refer: Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority).

There is no child who will not benefit from a Montessori education.
