WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER. Was in Wagga so tried out the Monastery for dinner. It WAS the worst dining experience I have ever had. Entree consisted of off oysters, off smelly bacon, cold fatty pork pieces seemed to be left over from lunch & a few bits from a jar. Mains were either over cooked, or undercooked. We shared the overcooked one to be on the safe side. Went to pay by AMEX & found out they don't accept it so after a large arguement I went to my car to get another card from my wife & they followed me out after calling the police AN ABSOLUTE JOKE.
After being guided to our table and given the menu, we sat there for twenty plus minutes and nobody came back. While the place a only about half full, it was at the tail end of the lunch rush and we left un-noticed. By this time all of our regular Gluten Free dining places were closed and we made our way home for a late lunch. This is a nice location with an interesting menu, shame about the table service on this day.
Don't know how they are still open as they have no idea on what good food or service is.
