Montana Caravan Park

We loved going to Montana. Amazing part of Gippsland.Weather was great, lots of really friendly people. The people who greet you when you book in are great. They love our dog and as long as you keep your dog under control and pick up its poo,they are more than happy to have you there. It is a family friendly park. You will have great time.

This would have to be the nicest and most friendly caravan park we've ever been to. The managers we're friendly and very obliging. Amenities were very clean, hot water great. It was quiet, relaxing and supplied fire drum and ood warm and cosy. We chose a non-powered site next to the river but there were plenty of large powered sites to choose from. Would highly recommend it

Montana has reopened, its basicly the same great place it always was but now its even better with a new freash management style.

We as a group go camping each Easter at a different location and after staying at Montana this easter it will be hard to find a park like it again.
We went early on the Tuesday before easter and got to know Barry and Sue and their family before it got busy.
We have open fires using our drums but respected the rules and used bases to not burn the ground.
We only had one child with us this trip and it felt so safe to let her run around even when others arrived.
I found this place to be very family friendly and yes there are rules and we were happy with that as we had no problems during our stay.
As a family my wife and I are keen to go back at some time as the views and the lush grass were a pleasure to setup on and the amenities were clean in general except from some abusive people making a certain mess.
In all we loved this place and people need to accept change and just enjoy your break.

I would just like to say that I am surprised at the negativity in some of these reviews, we have been going to Montanna for some time now and have always found Sue and Bob to be helpful friendly and have never found them aggressive. Yes they have their rules, but I think that\'s why its such a pleasant park, keeps out the riff raff. Showers, toilets are always well maintained, and being able to get paper, ice, etc at the office is great. And the more of you that dont come, the more room for us who appreciate them. Looking forward to booking in for Easter. Keep up the good work Bob and Sue.
