Under new management and now extensively refurbished, Tisdall Lodge offers budget bunkhouse style accommodation suitable for groups of up to 36 people on the original site of Walhalla's State School no. 957. Camping Association of Victoria accredited campsite. Self-catering or fully catered, hot showers available.

This lodge (head masters house) was horrible. It stunk, there was mountain rat poo over the floor and the interior was dated, second rate and run down. The microwave was completely rusted out on the inside and the pull-out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable...the mattress was so thin that the springs were poking into our backs. The cutlery was filthy and unusable.They tried to charge us $20 more than they initially quoted saying they had made a mistake. What a disgrace :(
