Moonta Bay Patio Motel & Restaurant The

This place was pretty good, though not being all that close to the main town centre was a bit of an annoyance for me, particularly since the walk is moderately long, though the drive doesn’t take that much time. On the other hand, this place is quite close to the beach, which I suspect works well for most people since I suspect that this is the reason they come here. The place does have a nice restaurant and some decent views over the ocean. Checking in can be a little tricky though since there isn’t a dedicated reception, but still, this place isn’t bad at all.

The Patio Restaurant is the perfect place, for great food, great service and great views, all at great prices !
We locals are very lucky, to have The Patio here, in beautiful Moonta Bay.
We have dined there, several times, for lunch and dinner, on weekdays and weekends.
It has consistently been a lovely experience, every time.
Highly recommend !

What first - the astounding view, the delicious food, the amicable staff, or the reasonable price? How about all of them at once.
I'm glad we booked as it was busy on the Saturday night we went, as we were able to get a table right next to the window. I'd pay just to sit there as it's so relaxing to see the sun set over the ocean. Decor otherwise is really neat and trendy with a seaside feel.
The food is an added benefit - but again I'd pay just for the food (which I guess I did really!) We enjoyed 3 courses each, and it's hard to pick which was my favourite. It's gourmet style, but not the tiny servings you might expect from such a quality of food.
This is a country hotel so the level of friendliness is top notch, there's a great feel about the whole place - not a snooty upper class feel at all. ...read more
