Called to get someone to look at my swear as there was overflow. Paid the $600+ for the weekend charge. He couldn't get his jets in to work but still charged me for essentially 20 minutes of no work.
Called the office, said someone would be back to take a look with the camera. DIdn't even bother to call me or let me know when he came. Didn't get a call back till a week later about the problem. All the meanwhile i am $600 down for 20 minues with literal human waste coming out of my vents.
Had to get another plumber to fix the issue. $600 down with nothing to show.
Hi Shaun, I have spoken with the technician who visited you property on Sunday. He did infact clear the drain for you and he was there for 54 minutes. He also returned on the Tuesday and carried out a full cctv inspection of your drain. His report says that he found the area the tree roots were entering the drain via the boundary trap.
He also suggested installing an inspection opening so the drain can be accessed properly in future. He left many voice messages for you and none were returned.
You were not charged for the return cctv inspection work valued at $300. It was unfortunate that you did not call us back as we tried many times to contact you. In summary, your review is unfair. The technician who came out gets nothing but great reviews from every client.
The drain was NOT cleared, it was still clogged and overflowing that night. I had to call another plumber to take care of it. I received ONE missed call, no voice messages to which i have proof on my phone and this was a week after the initial inspection. I didnt bother calling back because after i'd rang the office and the plumber i decided to just go with someone else as it was urget and nothing was happening. He was nice, and i'm sure he knew what he was doing. But these are the facts.
I have had a roof that leaks every time there is heavy rain for a number of years and had different people supposedly fix it but it always leaked again the next time there was heavy rain. Mr Drains have solved the problem. There have been several heavy down pours since my roof was fixed and no more leaks. This was all completed for a reasonable price and at a time suitable to me. I am happy to recommend them.
I had Mr Drains to come to look at the following things:
1) Leaking pipe under stairs outside which links to stormwater. Determine the root cause of the leak and fix it.
2) Bathroom and Ensuite - to confirm if megasealed have fixed the waterproofing or whether it is still leaking
3) Ceiling water leak - To determine if it is leaking due to skylight or balcony above
4) Rising Damp or leak in lower bedroom and lower toilet. To determine if it is due to rising damp or leak from outside wall or pipe

This honam. An update on my post. Luke the manager have given me a call to address the issues I have raised and came in person to re-inspect the job personally. He stands by his promise that Mr Drains will fix it for free if not resolved. I am happy with his attitude and promises. He will send a leak detection specialist free of charge to determine the leaks. I am currently happy with Luke and Mr Drains and they way they quickly address my concerns and the service he provided.
I have requested Truelocal to remove this post, but Truelocal preference was to leave the post and provide details on how a negative experience become a positive. I would consider using Luke services again, as he seems very experience, polite and honest to deal with.
Mr Drains just came out in the storm tonight at midnight and cleared a blocked storm water drain that was about to flood my garage. Sam sent out one of his 'on call' plumbers and within 25 minutes he arrived and cleared tree roots and leaves from my garage drain. Thanks again guys. We be referring your fast service to our friends. BTW I called 5 other plumbers who either wouldn't come out or didn't answer their phone.
We have been using Mr Drains for our plumbing at our home in Gordon for over 25 years now. We have experienced nothing but great service. Last week Sam sent Wes around and he repaired our leaking kitchen sink tap. He arrived on time, he gave me a price before he started the work and he cleaned up after himself.
