Mr Gloss

Very bad communication and kept delaying the return of our car. I'm still waiting on a part 3weeks after I picked up our car and they keep saying they'll call me back but never have. I will never use them again. Very unimpressed.

I read the reviews on this site and others after my insurance company had already booked my car in for repair with Mr Gloss and I have to say it did make me nervous. As context, it took me about 18 months initially to find my car as I was after something in mint condition and a particular colour - which I ended up having to bring down from QLD as I couldn't find one here. Anyway, I just got my car back and setup an account on here to specifically post this review to contrast the others as I really couldn't fault the guys at Mr Gloss. They were professional, worked around my schedule, organised a tow truck to pick up and drop off my car, kept me up to date with progress and did the work within the time they estimated. In terms of the repairs, albeit minor, they were perfect - I was worried that it would be difficult to match my car's colour but I cant pick the difference at all. Hopefully I never have to use any repairer again, but if I did, I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

By far the worst business I have ever dealt with in my life, I have never written a review but my God is my blood boiling. I had my front bumper repaired for a tiny scratch through my insurance, I was told it would only take a couple of days, I ended up taking a week and half off work because of their unprofessionalism. They kept messing me around for days with no returned phone calls, avoidance, no apologies or understandable for urgency when I would call on the day to pick it up they would move the date! I've never encountered a ruder receptionist with that much attitude and unprofessionalism. DO NOT GO HERE!

Unimpressed. Have never received any calls from them informing me of the progress of my car, was very in the dark during the entire process. Constant delays with excuses such as 'Waiting on car parts' (two weeks in) and 'They sent us the wrong parts'.

I used this shop after my car got keyed, every panel except one was scratched, requiring basically a complete re-spay. I used them as they are a recommended RACV repairer and the location was convenient. Couldn't be happier. They handled my claim, my car was ready when they said it would be, it came back almost spotless inside; and the paint job was sensational
