If communication is important to you when dealing with a tradesperson, do not use My Floor. My residential job was to clean and re-polish existing polished concrete. Because I chose this option rather than a mechanical grind, I was informed that all the scratches would not be removed but should get to 90 95%. My Floor was contracted to restore an existing 'grind and seal' finish (installed by another contractor). The floor had existing scratches, wear & tear on the coating. The client was advised that to remove 100% of the scratching, the existing coating would need to be completely removed. The client didn't want to spend much money as the house was being sold, so instead the floor was cleaned and sealed 'as is'. It was made clear that this will not remove 100% of scratching. The floor looked amazing apart from one scratch that was impossible to remove. Out of good faith, another coat of sealer was applied knowing that this would not hide the scratch, only attempting to maintain customer satisfaction. It then took approx 9 months to obtain the final payment from the client dispite all attempts to meet their expectations.
