I agree with most of what indef has said. I went to get a wrap this evening only to be served by a trainee who was left on the till by herself. I checked the order before i paid and said she had done it wrong it says pita on the screen its meant to be wrap, it doesn't matter was the reply. Guess what i got "a pita pocket". Tried ringing when i got home no answer. The queue for ordering was nearly out the door when i left but they left the newby on to take the orders, how senseless is that. The time it took to cook my order was 25mins. They have 2 tils to process the orders why don't they use them. This is the second time they've mucked up my order I most certainly won't be going back to the store.
While 99% of other Nando's restaurants are great - this store has serious problems. The staff are rude and slow, the queue to even order takes about 20-25 minutes to cycle thru, and even after ordering it's a good 20 minutes before you even get your food - be it take-away or dine-in. What really gets on my nerves is the fact that the Counter Staff take preference to phone-thru orders over walk-in customers - I'll be in the middle of ordering my meal, the phone will ring and I'll be asked to wait while they process the order for the person on the phone!!! The restaurant itself is VERY cramped, and there are NO toilets. I personally love Nando's, and it's a shame that I will never eat at this store again.
