Nepean Animal Hospital

I would firstly like to give a big thank you to Antony who responded promptly and professionally to my review. Like I said initially I could not comment on management or the vets themselves. He handled my issue and took care of my cat as if it was his own! The vets there are awesome, friendly and true animal lovers! I wish I could take down my previous review but I am unable to do so. 5*

This was my first time at Nepean Pet Hostipal, at first I was excited and Intrigued. However my 2pm appointment on a Saturday turned into over 45 mins wait.. I seen several people come in well after me and go in before me? The first two I let slide but then the next!? I went to the counter and spoke to the receptionist Nicole who's assured me I would be next, was I? NO! I then got up and said I'm sorry but I had an appointment at 2pm and I have to be somewhere, so can I can I rebook. Nicole who was very arrogant and unapologetic to my request rebooked me. No apology no reinsurance nothing!? My partner who was with me at the time has had Nicole as a tenant of hers and it did not end in a good way, so I feel that we were being unfairly punished and not handled in a professional manner at all! Good service but way over priced. I was quoted $1989 for a procedure on my dog with these vets, I shopped around and got a second opinion and found a vet who did the same procedure for $700 and they did a wonderful job too, just wasn't such fancy digs. I would definitely look for another vet if money is a factor.

I can't recommend this vet any more highly. I have taken all my pets there over the last 3 years and have been nothing but happy. ALL staff are extremely helpful, polite, understanding and caring. This vet hospital is open 24/7 for emergencies with a vet ALWAYS on site. Prices are reasonable and equipment is the latest in the market. Not only do they offer kittens to adopt from the clinic but they have fantastic boarding facilities for your pets on site should you go on holidays. Always a pleasure going to the vet

I have two Toy Poodles and since they were born, they have been coming to Nepean Animal Hospital. Now, 7 years later, we still come here. The staff a very friendly and there is little to no waiting times (pending you had an appointment).

The staff make you feel welcome and give you clear, detailed information about your pets health. When something is wrong, they dont complicate things and use big vet jargon words. They make things easy to understand and give sound advice.

Very happy with the team here and pleased to come back again and again!
