I have been visiting this restaurant since 2011 on my many trips between the east and the west and until my two most recent visits I could not fault the place. The food was perfect (still is) and the people were great. However that seems to have changed with my two most recent visits ending in disgust and my last one ending in my refusal ever to eat there again! The staff were rude. I got told I had to eat take away food because I was sitting outside with my dogs and not at an inside table for the first time. It is a shame really that they have such nice food and shakes becuase they dont have a spare minute for anyone, they just dont seem to care. I would not reccomend visiting this place unless you enjoy being treated bad
Hmmmm... Food was ok when it finally arrived 45 minute wait) .. And there were only 9 other people dining at the time.... Service was slow and unfriendly, Pity the staff don't know how to smile... They lost more people walking out from not being served than they actually served...(I counted 15 while I was waiting) When it came time to pay, not even a "thank you" from them.
I'll never return !
We heard that this place was 'famous' so went out of our way to call in on our trip back from Tassie in 2007. We were dissapointed with the food and the lack lustre service. Perhaps the person who served us was having a bad day as it certainly did not live up to it's reputation of being a cafe of some reknown!
