We are situated between the foreshore of Lake Nillahcootie and the Strathbogie State Forest so you can enjoy your own private water frontage and direct access to the Strathbogie State Forest whilst staying in modern self contained cottages. Or if you are just looking to relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful bushland setting, we are located only 25 minutes from Benalla and 15 minutes from Mansfield, the High Country and its many activities. The property boasts 3 two bedroom cottages which can each sleep up to 8 people. All cottages contain the comforts from home - TV, DVD player, stereo, split system airconditioning, generous bathroom facilities, fully functional kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave oven, gas cooktops and dishwasher. Laundry facilities are also available upon request. Each unit has its own private BBQ, outdoor setting and carport for the car or boat. Spend your days bushwalking, boating, swimming, fishing, motorbike or pushbike riding, skiing the slopes of Mt buller, or doing the countless activites the area has to offer. Absolutely fabulous location. We had 10 kids with us and they had an amazing time. Cabins are lovely and feel very homelike. Camp kitchen is awesome, we ate in there every meal. Even in the rain there is plenty of space to stay dry. Owners are very hospitable, we will definitely be back!!
Perfect location in a cove of lake Nillahcootie, great for boating, you can leave your boat in the water through out your stay, 3 modern cabins that look out over the lake, the communal bbq area is fantastic, great place for family's and couples, the owners on the resort are lovely people

The community bbq area is filthy and unuseable. The outside toilet emits a foul sewage smell. Our cabin is not well facilitated. Sleeps 6, 2 cups, plastic plates mixed with some crockery. Not even a salad bowl. The cupboard housing the plates was filled with dust. Air conditioner was not working well. On closer inspection, the the filters had an inch of dust. Obviously never maintained. The bathroom exhaust has a chandaleir of dust. Light bulbs not working leaving the cabin very dark. The bathroom constantly smelt of seweage.....management where notified, no response. No receipt given for our stay.Not dog friendly, however, there dogs roam freely.
