North Ryde RSL Community Club

My child loves standing at the Avery watching the birds fly around and the fish swim in the pond. The fish are huge and it is an impressive collection of koi. They have two Macaw birds here too which you don't see often. The display is free and at the front of the centre opposite the gift shop.
If you are a member of the club you get 10% off the gift shop which I sticks some good brands such as Crabtree and Evelyn, Ecoya and Birkenstocks.

A popular club with an interesting bird collection in the avery. The facilities are a little dates but it is a family friendly environment.

My parents eat here religiously each week so I guess that says something... I join them occasionally. If you are a member and have accumulated points you can use them to purchase meals. They often have themed meal nights and live entertainment which keeps things a tad exciting for the folks. The food that is redeemed for the 'free' dinner is what you expect for an RSL - average but their servings are generous. What I really enjoy is that on Sundays, members can also use their points to redeem a breakfast - great variety and large servings. And who doesn't love a hot breakfast?

Very poor experience last time I was here - sent an email to the Management about my experience and recieved no acknowledgement - even worse. If you can get past the cranky staff at the front - the fried over priced food is just adequate.

Best club in a 10km radius for kids and families. There is a play area upstairs just for kids and you can leave the kids there for $3 each and they will supervise.



Great idea for clubs
