Novotel Melbourne On Collins

Great value for money and staff always friendly. Rooms are clean and reasonably sized. For a middle tier Hotel, you can't beat it. Being in the heart of the city is great, unless you have a car. Absolute nightmare even pulling up to the Hotel in non peak times.

Have been a repeat visitor to the Novotel, Melbourne on Collins when travelling for work.
Always reasonably priced for a great central CBD location.
Front desk staff are friendly and helpful but it can get busy.
I often enjoy a drink with friends and colleagues at Lane on the lobby level.
Parking can be a little tricky as it can be busy out the front on Collins Street, but concierge are attentive and quick to take charge if you have a vehicle you need parked.
Comfortable and good sized rooms with clean amenities.
Good option for Accor members too.

I had a comfortable stay at the Novotel Melbourne last week. Its in a good location, and although the shopping centre underneath is under construction, I didnt get any noise. Only annoyance was that the room was a bit of a walk from the lift (not the best floor design), but room was clean and well fit out. I had a good stay.

My husband and I were given a voucher to stay here for a Christmas present. Fabulous location, right in the centre of the CBD above the Australia on Collins shopping centre. They have a pool and spa, though it is not all that big.
Rooms are nice and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast the following morning.
A great option for accommodation in the CBD if you're wanting to get out and do things.

Stayed here for one night while travelling for work. Hotel has recently been refurbished and is clean and modern. The staff were very helpful. Rooms are well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The toiletries were a bit cheap with no body lotion or conditioner. I was woken three times by either noisy hotel guests loitering in trb corridor outside my room and then by someone calling my room at 1am. I had breakfast at the lane cafe bar near the hotels reception and it was very nice. Good choice and the coffee was actually very good. I would try the hotel again but might ask for a room on a higher floor to avoid the noise.
